Warranty and Returns

Terryville Auto Parts offers a 6 month parts only warranty on all parts sold unless otherwise stated prior to sale. The 6 month period starts when the customer takes possession of the part. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser, and only as long as the part is installed in the vehicle for which it was originally purchased. The warranty is non transferable. Terryville Auto Parts warranty does not cover labor charges. Terryville Auto Parts is not responsible for the refund of shipping and handling fees if it is determined by Terryville Auto Parts that the customer is at fault for ordering a part incorrectly. A 25% restocking fee is applied to all non-warranty returned items. For warranty returns in which a replacement part is not available, or needed, the payment will be returned via the original purchase method (I.E. if part was paid for with Visa card the refund would be issued to that same Visa card) Contact our sales staff with any questions regarding these policies.

In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your engine, transmission, etc, you must provide an invoice from installer showing ALL procedures listed below were completed. Please save all your documentation, invoices, and receipts. NO WARRANTY WILL BE HONORED WITHOUT PROPER DOCUMENTATION SHOWING ALL PROCEDURES WERE FOLLOWED. All returns will be inspected by Terryville Auto Parts to confirm proper installation procedures were followed. This inspection will be performed before any refund is given.

Any improper use, abuse (including but not limited to overheating or low oil in engines and transmissions), racing, off-roading, snow plowing, neglect, careless handling, damage done by improper installation or repairs, preexisting issues that could damage the part sold, removal or modification of an individual part sold as an assembly, or removal of the part from the vehicle in which it was first installed after purchase, shall void this warranty.

Even some amplifiers or integrated fuse boxes require programming.

Programming must be done do ensure proper function. Failure on the customers part to have the module programmed does not qualify for warranty replacement.
If module is not responding or communicating it is important to check other electrical systems to verify proper function (wires, fuses, relays, battery)
Some modules cannot be reprogrammed, IT IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT TO FIND OUT BEFORE PURCHASING IF MODULE CAN BE REPROGRAMMED. It is recommended to speak to your mechanic or local dealer and ask if its possible and what is involved.
